There are two main reasons we are contracted to perform Boundary Surveys:
- A property is transferring and the legal description on file with the County is no longer adequate. The title company involved requests us to perform a boundary survey and write a new legal description in order for the transfer to occur.
- A home owner would like to make improvements to the property and needs to know their boundary lines. Improvements may consist of installing a fence, in ground pool, shed, etc.
In either case, we perform our Boundary Survey in accordance with the standards set forth by the State of Ohio in Code Section 4733-37. Boundary Surveys are highly accurate determinations of a property’s boundary lines – “When the reported distance is less than two hundred feet, the linear error shall not exceed 0.02 feet.”
If you need to know your exact boundary lines, for any reason, this is the survey for you!
